Dear Parent/Guardian
Wrexham County Borough Council is providing free swimming lessons for children who are weak or non swimmers in the school years 5 & 6.
These lessons will run weekly at Plas Madoc Leisure Centre on a Monday at 3.30pm & 4pm. They will be taken by qualified swimming teachers, with the benefit of having smaller class sizes with others of similar ability.
The aim of the lessons is for children to become more confident in water but also where possible to reach the required National Curriculum standard.
As our children don’t leave school until 3.15pm if you are looking at enrolling your child, please ask for the 4pm session as we can’t authorise children to leave early on a weekly basis.
