Fantasy football is a great way to improve pupil’s numeracy skills across the school. Pupil’s will have to work within a budget to select their players and can check their scores each week, using their numeracy skills to check their scores against their friends and make changes each week if required.
This year I have set up an Ysgol Acrefair Fantasy Football League for any children who wish to enter. All the details are attached below to join the league but please make sure you get permission from an adult before entering a team. The league is free to join and there may be a prize for the winning team at the end of the season! I am not very good at checking my fantasy team/leagues but I’m sure the children will remind me if they are beating me!
The season starts on Friday, so try and submit your teams before then. Children can create an account using either their Hwb email or asking nicely if they can use an adult in their houses email address. Good luck!
