Unfortunately, we do not currently have a caretaker on site. However, Mrs Halley and I have been into school and cleared the paths. We will be using the main gate only.
I have also contacted the council to grit Tower View so that cars can access the area safely and I hope this will be done by the morning but it may still be slippery so please be careful. Please see the attached photos showing the cleared pathways.
Children in Years 3–6 will cross the yard independently as usual. All children from Nursery to Year 2 should enter through the main door, where they will be met by staff.
I am very aware that parking can be difficult at the best of times. To help ease this tomorrow due to the snow, the gates will open at 8:50am as usual, and at 9:00am for Nursery. However, children will not be marked late until after 9:30am. Please take your time, and we hope that this staggered approach—for tomorrow only—will help keep everyone safe.
