Today Year 5 spent a brilliant day at T? Pawb taking part in an environmental art workshop. The children explored the exhibition by Jonathan Le Vay, enjoying both the artwork and the music that goes with it for a lovely multi?sensory experience. We were lucky that Jonathan himself was there, supporting the session and talking to the children about his work, which made the visit even more special.
After exploring the gallery, the children had a go at creating their own artwork in his style. We used acrylic paints, tried spray?water effects, and encouraged everyone to explore their own ideas. They were enthusiastic, creative, and proud of what they made.
It was also great to enjoy T? Pawb as a community space- welcoming, inspiring, and full of things to see.
We’re really grateful to T? Pawb, Jonathan Le Vay, and the Arts Council of Wales for supporting the school and giving the children such a memorable experience.
