We had a wonderful time today visiting Trevor Basin and finding out the way that the canal system supported the industry in our local area. The visit brought together some of our inquiries from the year so far- from industry and innovation, to this terms work on Sustainable Cities- the visit gave us chance to experience first hand how our local area might have been and how it has changed and developed! The watery focus also helped us to launch our new inquiry ‘Life Below Water’ and this afternoon we pitched our ideas for what direction this inquiry will take us in… Ocean adventures await us after half term!
