On Tuesday, we will be visited by some FAW coaches as they are piloting the new Disney Playmakers scheme “Lilo and Stitch”.
Disney Playmakers is a UEFA initiative aimed at increasing girl’s participation in football and sports and is taught through popular Disney stories. The aim of the sessions is to help with oracy and reading skills, improve movement skills and have fun!
All girls in Year 2 and above in Ysgol Acrefair have been offered the opportunity to take part in Disney Playmakers previously and have really enjoyed the programme, completing modules such as “Moana”, “Frozen” and “The Incredibles”.
We are very excited for the coaches to introduce the new scheme on Tuesday and are asking for all girls in Year 1 and 2 to come to school in their PE kits on Tuesday for the sessions.
