We are delighted to share that our new fencing and school entrance are now complete. From tomorrow morning, we kindly ask parents of children in Nursery, Reception, Year 1, and Year 2 to use the walkway that now leads to the area outside the main school office. Children will be met, as usual, by their class teachers at the Nursery Gate.
Children in Years 3, 4, 5, and 6 will be met at the first gate onto the yard by a member of staff. They will then walk across the yard independently to be greeted by another member of staff, who will ensure they enter the school safely as usual.
If you are dropping off children in both Foundation Phase and Juniors, please don’t worry—the gates will remain open until 9am, and you may drop them off in whichever order works best for you.
We understand this is a change, but we are very pleased that the new, higher fencing will help us further ensure your child’s safety. Thank you for your cooperation.
