We are all looking forward to welcoming everyone back to school tomorrow and hope you have all had a lovely Christmas.
Unfortunately, we have had some very sad news over the holidays that I wanted to share with you all.
Tragucally, Mr Beckett passed away last week. John was a well-loved colleague and friend to Ysgol Acrefair for many years. John only retired from his caretaking role a year ago and was enjoying his well earned retirement until his wife Cynthia passed away suddenly a few months ago.
I’m sure you will wish to join us in passing on our condolances and love to his family at this incredibly sad time. Both John and Cynthia will be greatly missed.
