We are proud to announce that we are joining forces with the world-renowned Fron Male Voice Choir for one night only! On Friday 10th May at 7pm, some of our children will be taking part in a concert at the George Edward Hall to raise funds for a defibrillator to be installed at our school. There are on average 140,000 adult deaths due to cardiac arrest in the UK per year, of which 241 are school children. Chances of survival following an arrest are 5% however if a defibrillator machine is used within the first 10 minutes, chances of survival increases to 75%. We hope we will never be in the situation to have to use the equipment but if needed, we could potentially help save a life.
This event is not just for our school, we will be advertising it locally so please help spread the word! Everyone is welcome! Be quick though, the Choir have a huge following and tickets will sell out quickly.
