As we approach the end of the school year, many of the children (and staff!) are tired and have summer colds however there are quite a few children that have had to receive antibiotics after presenting with some/all of the following ailments:
*?????Sores in/around the mouth *?????Pain in eyes and/or nose *?????Blocked nose *?????General tiredness *?????Rash/spots
The symptoms can be confused with hayfever and colds but need antibiotics to clear. If you are concerned we would ask you to contact your doctor. We have been informed that children with this illness are highly contagious if antibiotics are not administered.
