As we get close to Remembrance Sunday, we are going to be taking part in Cefn Community Council’s ‘curtain of poppies’ project.
You will have seen our display in the front yard that we did a few years ago.
This is where we need YOUR help! If you are treating your family to fizzy drinks over the weekend (or sparkling water!), please can you wash the bottles out when they’re empty and bring them in to school for us to transform into poppies? It would be really helpful if you could cut the bottle like the picture attached but don’t worry if you can’t.
You can either bring them to the office or give them to your children to hand in at class and we can get a team of children together to help paint them.
