Once again we are collecting for The Harvest Appeal for Wrexham Foodbank. The Foodbank have provided a list of items they are looking for which means that they can give each person visiting them a carefully designed food parcel that will contain three days’ worth of nutritionally-balanced meals.
As the storage unit has no facilities for fresh/frozen food they are asking for tinned and dried goods that are non-perishable, please see the attached link.
We have 216 pupils at Ysgol Acrefair and if just half of those can bring in a food item to donate, the Foodbank will be able to feed dozens of families in the Wrexham area.
We will start collecting foodstuff from Monday 18th September and this will run until Friday 20th October.
