Re-opening of schools

Parents/Carers This is the latest message from welsh Government regarding the further opening of schools.

In Wales, schools will begin to open to more pupils from the 29th June. The term will be extended to the 27th July.
Schools will take a phased approach , with smaller classes, and staggered starts, lessons and breaks.
We’ll use this time to make sure pupils, staff and parents are prepared mentally, emotionally and practically for the new normal in September.

At the moment we do not know exactly how this will look at Ysgol Acrefair . There is operational guidance being published next week for schools to start to plan . What we do know is that staff at Ysgol Acrefair will be doing our very best to make sure that this next phase of re-opening will be a smooth and safe as it can possibly be.
Please be assured that you will be updated and informed at every stage of the planning process and that your views are very important to us. We kindly ask that you wait for this information. There is no need to contact us yet as we have no further information to share.
Thank you so much for all your patience and understanding and hard work with your children at this difficult time.  We have really appreciated the kind messages and updates from yourselves and the children.
We will all be back together soon x
