We have been asked to inform parents that Burton Terrace should not be used for school drop-offs and collection. In particular, children should not be allowed to run through the front gardens of the bungalows as it is causing distress to the elderly residents. Nobody should be parking on the pavements outside the bungalows.
Additionally, this morning there was an incident on the land behind the businesses on Tower View. This area is owned by the units and is not to be used at any time by our school traffic. One of the owners received verbal abuse when they tried to park for work.
We appreciate parking around the school is limited and we are working with County to improve our access whilst maintaining security but this is not a quick fix. In the meantime we would kindly ask that everyone is respectful to our neighbours.
