Kiddiesworld TERM TIME Flying Start and Early Education setting is currently looking for an enthusiastic, energetic, and motivated Supervisor to join the Kiddiesworld team.

Our aim is to create a warm and friendly setting and provide a positive, safe, happy, and nurturing approach to childcare. The children in our care receive stimulation and develop from our ethos of a play-based approach to learning through positive experiences.

You will need to be confident, driven, and most importantly passionate about childcare. You will be a committed, professional, organised, flexible, and responsible Senior Supervisor who is driven by high quality and excellence and has the ability to lead by example and support the Setting Manager.

The successful candidate will:

Hold a Level 4 qualification or above in childcare and previous experience in a  supervisory role would be preferred.
Level 5 qualification or be prepared to work towards this level is desirable.
Hold 5 years post-qualifying experience in a nursery/childcare setting.
Flying Start and Early Education experience preferred. Training will be required.
Work 30+ hours a week term time only Monday to Friday 8.30 am – 3.00 pm..
Be passionate to work with children.
Have a desire to learn and grow.
Work closely alongside the Setting Manager to drive the setting forward, assist and take responsibility in managerial areas as required.
Take responsibility when the setting Manager is not in the setting.
Make all children and their families feel special every day and part of a large family.
Work closely alongside their colleagues, supporting and encouraging each other.
Be imaginative, creative, and not afraid to dress up, be covered in paint or gloop, and most importantly have fun.

Job Duties Summary:

Work as a Senior Supervisor working with the team.
To achieve and maintain high standards of care.
To assist the Setting Manager in effectively leading and managing the staff team including providing day-to-day guidance, supervision, mentoring, and training and support to all colleagues.
Ensuring the records are updated and maintained at a high standard throughout the setting.
Adhering to Health and Safety policies, maintaining risk assessments, and relevant documentation.
Working in partnership with parents/carers to best support children’s care and development.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Full-time hours: 30+ per week

Salary: £14,781
Yearly pay review.
