happy new year and welcome back

We  hope everyone has had a happy christmas. We are looking firward to seeing everyone tomorrow.
As you are aware we are currently having some building/reburbishment work. When you bring the children in the morning you will see that the infant playgorund is now taken up by the building compound and our temporary main office cabin.
Breakfast club and children in years 3-6 will enter the building as normal through the canteen/KS2  entrance. Children in Reception, Yr 1 and 2 will enter the building through the rear entrance at the back of Mrs Brophy’s classroom so will need to walk across the junior yard where they will be met by staff.  Nursery children will enter the building via their normal entrance but access to the playground will only be via the activity centre path as there is no access across the infant playground. Please use the path at the side of the junior playground/tennis courts  up to the activity centre to avoid traffic . There will be limted room on the playground so we ask parents not to arrive before 3pm and wait for their children by the bottom gate near Border Beds. Reception, yr 1 and 2 parents can collect their chidlren from The same entracnce as the morning.

We are expecting that the next few weeks will be  disruptive but please bear with us . Our main priority is that the children are safe and that we can carry on the normal business at school as best we can.

In order to help us out we would really appreciate all dinner/snack/breakfastclub/trip money being paid online as we will have no facility to accept cash at least for the first two weeks.
Please  be very aware that there will be a lot of traffic movement and therefore the staff car park is totally out of bounds other than for staff/contractors at all times. This is to protect the safety of the children .
If at all possible please make arrangements so that you do not need to enter the school site with your car- ie walk or park elsewhere , espcially avoiding Tower View.

Staff will be out and about in the morning /afternoon to assist.
Thank you very much for your support.
