Where did that year go ? As we come to the end of the summer term and the end of the school year, I’d like to say a huge thank you to you all for your continued support during the last two plus years. Your children are a joy, and we are incredibly proud of them all. They have all coped so well with the various changes and disruptions.
It’s been lovely to be able to return to some of our usual activities, sports days, face to face parents’ evenings etc. We are already planning lots of exciting events and opportunities for the next school year- keep your eyes open for more information.
We wish our Year 6 children all the very best in their High Schools- this is a huge step but we know that they will thrive !
We have a few goodbyes to say.
Miss Weaver will be leaving us after a lovely two terms covering our year 2 class. We wish her all the best in her new school. Mrs Jane Roberts will be finishing with us this summer. We wish her all the best on her new adventure and new career.
Mrs Liz Edwards is finishing in the kitchen but will still be working with the breakfast club and cleaning. Thank you Mrs Edwards.
Miss Laura Edwards will be starting her maternity leave at the end of the week. We can’t wait to meet the baby !
Mr Tom Hughes will moving up to Year 4 for the first couple of weeks when we return covering Miss Edwards’ maternity leave.

Welcome back to Mrs Rosen-Edwards who will be returning to Year 2 following her maternity leave.
As always, I am incredibly proud of our school community and I’d like to thank our staff for their care and dedication. I’d also like to thank our Governing Body for their continued support and for their help developing Ysgol Acrefair to be the amazing school it is.
