A message from our Year 6 pupils

Just a quick message on behalf of the children in Year 6…
Our stall at the Christmas Fayre is based on the theme ‘Make do and mend’- it links to our learning about World War 2 and how people used to repair clothes/hand them down.
As many of you know, we already try to do this in our school as we work towards our goal of being as environmentally friendly as possible.
At our stall you will also be able to make a small donation to buy for good quality, used uniform.
We also have Christmas jumpers available to buy- again for a small donation.
We are currently busy upcycling some of our own clothes and you will be able to see our creations on the stall.
If you have last years Christmas jumpers which have now been outgrown- please feel free to send them into school so that they too can become part of our stall- by doing this you will be helping to raise money for school, allow another family to purchase a jumper for a small donation rather than the prices in the shops and you will also be helping the environment! It’s win, win!
As always, thank you for your help and support.  We are so proud of the work that we are doing to raise money for school and to help the planet and we love to see everyone getting involved too!
